Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

Hey bro
Looking good with some nice clean modelling. I hope you have enough time to finish this one.

Just a point to note is that I think you need to work on the breasts just a bit more as they don't seem to have any weight or something is not quite right. Actually I think they may be too high.

I am also of the opinion that the part where the arm joins the shoulder is a little too defined. The shoulder muscle tends to flow more into the arm.

Here is the crunch tho - Modelling a human, in my opinion is one of the hardest things to do... Notice you have not seen any of mine Blah! I think that you are doing a wonderful job and keep it up!!!

Looks good there Dae. Only thing i have to give a critic on are the shoulders. I'm not sure if you want to let them look like that, because she's just a seawoman. But if you want the shoulders look like real woman i suggest you should tweak some things.

I have used your image to show you what i mean ( i hope you don't mind user added image ).

you should delete the creases i have selected by a cross.
And let the breasts flow into the arms ( i hope that make sense ).

sorry for my english if it is bad.

Really really nice dae, keep going man.

Only crits / comments I would have at the moment :

1) Collar bone and Sternum area look a little sharp to me.

2) Where the front of the shoulder meets the upper arm, I think it should be a little more fleshy.

I don't think this is as important, though, as getting the final geometry in, texturing it, and getting it into a scene in time. If it will take to long to correct things now, just ignore it and push on. What you have there looks great, and since it isn't strictly human, it doesn't need to be perfect anatomy anyway user added image

i agree...there's not much time left...i'd probably get the tail and fins attached then add detail if there's time...better to get it finished and not be perfect than miss the deadline.
She'll look incredible with textures too...especially if you can get the sparkly, scaley look in her tail
