Good start jramauri and nice choice of vehicle! I really like your concept sketches and also your ideas for the boomerang wheel weapon - always good to give your ideas a practical function.

This is going to be another great contest!

ha ha! I know what you mean...I keep seeing robots everywhere I look too, though my ideas are more along the lines of robot traffic lights and robot lamp posts (?!)

cgrein: Thanks dude!
arran: Man, join this challenge! Keep in mind that you will add a lot of things to your knowledge database doing so. You don't have to make a work for win. I always said that these challenges are, in first place, great oportunities to learn. I learn almost all I know about Maya doing SM challenges. I think you shouldn't let this one pass. Think about it!

If I can get mtmckinley to give in on some things for this challenge, I will enter.

Anyway, I agree with you jramauri, just entering this challenge will increase ones knowledge base, the most valuable prize anyone can gain from any competition.

Thanks jramauri - yeah, I am not fussed about winning (I don't stand a chance!) and I definitely learnt a great deal in the Jan/Feb challenge, but I did set aside the next couple of months to get a start into learning rigging and animating, so I feel like I should stick with that. Still, I am doodling robots, so you may want to watch your back! user added image
