Also, heres a smoothed version of the character. I know it looks a bit bumpy but since it is low poly, theres alot of tris in the model which is causing the bumps. Anyways a low poly model you do not smooth anyways so it doesnt matter lol, but i just wanted to see how it would look if i did decide to smooth it and take out the tris and turn into quads so that I know my poportions are heading in the right directions. so far they are so im pretty happy.

Ok im now at a total of 4626 with the body without hair and accessories but so its looking good so far. Most of the accessories will not add many more tris since they will go over the original so i can then deleted whats underneath. anyways heres my overall shape. C&C welcomes. Let me know if hes to fat or to wide or whatever.

PS
lol i almost forgot, those are gloves on his hands. close ups soon when i finish work on the whole arm

looking Good E.
i think the face could use some more tweaking. even reduce the poly a bit around the mouth area. u dont need adeloops much for game chars. unless they will have speech.

Why not just keep one glove? I mean he's got mismatching trousers, why not mismatch a little more? Give him one, really nice powerful looking glove, and keep the other bare. Could be a nice touch maybe? I dunno. Cool character so far, kinda reminds me a bit of anime.

Hey thanks petrol. Yea ur right, Im going to keep the one glove idea since im going all out with the shorts/pants. Eventually its gon be a anime type character. once the hair and weapons are finished, thats when it will really have the look.

Ok, this is it for the night. All I have left is to:
1) Decide what I want to do for gloves
2) Do the hair
3) Reduce my poly count

Right now im sitting at 5300 and with the weapon which i forgot to take a pic of I have 5500. Once I complete the hair tomorrow, I will start texturing. Im not looking foward to this part seeing that i never had to rely on photoshop for all my details but hopefully it works.

nice work, you can cut out a lot of polys from the fingers, to reduce the poly count
