This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
now the eye are darker and the bump is deeper.for the eyes i used a blinn material ,its not lambert and how would you want any reflection on it, there is nothing to reflect.
I think the eyes need a reflection just because eyes reflect so well, it is what they do. The tongue still needs a texture though. The eyes are looking much better but there is still something about the iris' themselves that looks wrong.
i tried a phong material for the eyes and i made a quick render with a directional light.i think i should work more on the texture inside of the mouth.
looking great but im still not happy with they eye colour area. if u look at most eyes of the gorilla as in most peoples eyes there is a white reflection cube in them perhaps try getting a small area light to get this reflection. Take a look on the cgtalk site all eyes have this kinda thing. i personally think if u get the eyes right mate ull b onto something good. there the most important thing and shouldnt be overlooked.
Also the pupil could be larger than the iris.
im liking the bottom teeth m8, there looking really nice, maby dirty up the top ones a little, or if u already have its kinda hard to see cos id say the light shining from the right is very very slightly too bright, the teeth just glow a bit too much.
Nice progress though dude.
thanx for the comments.
with the directionnal light, it should create that little round in the eye but it doesnt, i dont know why maybe the light is too high.for the color i will try to change it.
now, the teeth are not textured yet but will be as soon as i can.and jhubbard, you said that they seems to glow and i think thats because the diffuse is way too high.
just a quick render with maya software to see what it could looks like with fur.there is some problem with fur baldness but it will be corrected in the final render.
