This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

up to now it has 2652 triangles, but i think i can reduce that number a bit.
i have read that solid snake had around 3000 and leon from resident evil 4 had around 9000.

Great job man, can we get a softened version and a soften/harden normals view? Plz, I really want to see the full potential of this. Its great.

btw, I've though about that thing, reality is like a very realistic phisics engine, more than one time xDDDDDDDDD, but i came to a conclusion, its imposible LoL

I wonder if he meant "average verticals". I checked all the normals' options, and there isn't any harden or soften settings. He could be reffering to a MAX command.

Anyway, I think you should define the muscle groups a bit better. I think more muscle definition would really make the model stand out, if your going for high detail.
