yes, the render,where your lights are placed and what intensity you gave to the lights to look like that.

Ok, here it is,

I use one sopt light (moonlight) to light up the city.

Settings are, ray trace shadows with mental ray area light.

Render settings are using mental ray final gather with a secondary diffuse bounces.

And thats ituser added image

Well there is one more light, but all it dose is illuminate the moon, using light linking.

thank you, now that you said that, i was wondering what a secondary diffuse bounces is doing in a scene and how do you turn that on.

I think its only in maya 6 and up, not to sure.
