This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
Ear sizes are actually anatomically correct, so nuff said there.
The scar...okay scars come in all shapes and sizes I have a five inch one down my left knee which is neither carved or portruding, its just an ugly bastard. Also portruding scars, have a look at the on on Harrison Fords chin, although its not like this one it sures hell sticks out.
This scar is too uniform right now it needs tapering off at the ends.
Reference is always king when modeling, got milk? get reference!
Also the texture is a placement test in Z brush as Ive already stated nothing is set in stone on that one for sure, and the brows are well... crap too, as they are on the texture map, I use poly planes with blends on for those.
PBman: Well, as Im comingto the end of texturing the girl, I thought it best to start cranking the next model out, plus I really want to get my Z skills going as well to speed things up. Ive already made his top, LOL...post it later
Only thing I can see is that the jumper seems to have the arm stitching really defined, is it a jumper over a t-shirt or am I just seeing it from a bad angle?
Thanks for the crit, Yeah getting there slowly, no its not the angle, its visible like all my other work, Im not overly fussed about it, as it will disappear once the texture and bumps are applied, it wont be as obvious. It will be a heavy hessian cloth like top in bad condition...
