Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

from your threads i can see there isnt much difference in the way we create our meshes(and skill) but i had lots of help on www.3d-palace.com and smcars.net
i think you just need to iron out your mesh and finish your models user added image and i can email you some tutorials that i have if you want

I know these renders are tests but the lighting is creating some pretty big hotspots and dark areas. The headlights need some shaping I think, I see a seam at the front middle of the hood and at the top middle of the windshield needs a tweak because its not blending.

just wanted to see what needed to be tweeked the model is still too far of from rendering and about the front i forgot to merge the hood at the end there samething with the top of the windshield

worked on the tail lights abit and the rims material had to rebuild the back to fit the head lights

i descoverd a problem though whenever i render with hdri the area facing the camera is usually dark had to change the color for it to be noticed. even if i add lights the specific area is not affected all that pops up up is a hot spot

i get those lines at the bottom of the bumper and the top of the tail light when i use the edge loop tool any ideas on how to fix and avoid that

manualy poly spit or you can evenly space verts from that edge that way it wont give u such a hard edge user added image im runnin into the same probs on the evo but that seems to get rid also riddin of any unness edges it looks like there diffrent from the wireframe post

a couple more tweaks and you'll be cooking with gas...

some crits would be, some edges may need a bit of tweaking, the wheels could use some tread on them and windows seem too plain.
