In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Woohoo, is that you on the cockpit door? Lol, great job so far.. I cant wait to see a closeup on the face like the first pic to compare these eyes.. hah. I dont know why, eyes are a big part for me.. it shows of many emotions.. such as mad, sad, cold hearted.. and things like that. Keep it up! Oh yea, how long have you been modelling for?

Okay here's a good close up of the face... As you can see I don't think it's the shape of the eyes but rather the sharp edges around the eyes... seems like now matter what I do it doesn't smooth out right... I was thinking of just leaving it the way it is now cause it's as good as I could get... figure I can do post production touch up... oh well if you have any ideas let me know!

Also to answer your question I've been doing 3D for along time... but only in the last few years have I had good software to do anything "good". I've been using Maya for 6 months now and since it's the best software I have learned a lot!!! Thus the Gundams will be born! user added image Here's the pics

niiice, yes wing gundam is like the best gundam. Anyways.. thanks for the closeup on the eyes.. if you can could you ever put a polygon below the eyes, make that green.. and then on the polys above it put a high refract on them.. so you get that "glass" approach.. once again i really wouldnt know if this would work. Ok, cya.
