Thanks ctbram. I had a tumer removed from my bladder (its OK im not dying) that went OK but I caught a infection that lasted for two weeks (sent me mad no sleep). I am well on the mend now and getting back to normal, At the mo just trying to get some things finish as I would like to get on to rigging I think its the last thing in maya that I have little understanding of..............dave

Edit:Not much of a update my little 5 year old broke his arm badly ( hanging in a horrible manner made me feel sick) this morning

yeah, looks better, especially the bucket.

Perhaps some paintfx foliage might help flesh out some of the barer spaces, to the front and sides?

might look cool if you then animated...you could have the water pouring and the leaves swaying slightly?

Thanks Ben
I feel a bit stupid for leaving the filters on I was thinking about remodelling but now think its ok, a little animation I will think about that can not pan out to much.
Things to do
1 Like you said Ben a little more folige
2 sort out a vine stem
3 The water still not looking right as I think stwert pointed out
4 May be a butterfly flying through should be easy (how meny times have I said that to myself then fallen flat on my face)
5 stones dont like the texture

Very nice work Dave. You have a very good overall understanding of Maya.

The water is looking better with the turbulence, but it's still pretty crystal clear.Faucet 1
Faucet 2
Faucet 3

The water is almost white, probably cause of all the air that gets incorporated.

could you add a second particle emitter there with slightly different characteristics? That might then create some more variety and you could colour those particles more cloudy? Maybe with a slightly shorter life span so the water appeared clearer as it got further down?
