This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

I got a small crit on the horse head. You can only notice on the close up, but the teeth really bug me. It looks too much like the hair, almost as if the hair starts inside the mouth and flows past the chin.

Otherwise looking good. I'm digging the new textures.

What I lack in skill I make up for with enthusiasm.

For some reason i cant see the concept pic anymore...anyhow i got a quick question

Do the symbols on the wheel have any meaning? The reason im asking is because most of them are abstract...skull with wings and whatnot, but then you have a car in there too. Peaks my curiosity.

Hi, good comment on the horse head, ill definatly change the teeth, prob to blinn or something, watch this space.

The drawin does seem to appear and reapear randomly but i jus checked it and its fine so jus keep lookin, hope you can see it soon.

I dont think that all of the symbols have meanings but i have a sneaky feeling that some do, ill ask my dad for confirmation but i reckon that he had his MOT to pay on his car commin up wen he drew it...hence the letters MOT and the CAR....bizarre..keep the comments and crits commin...oh and the pound sign!

These are really excellent, I look forward to see future progress. The concept reminds me of Miyaziki anime, Castle in the Sky or something, have you seen any?

I think you should learn Japanese and get a job for Ghibli Studios, your work is very impressive and is inspiring me to give designing something a try...

Very nice ! Great modeling and good textures so far.
One crit though. The texture on the machine at the lower left looks a bit flat and streched - compared to the others. Maybe it's just because of the perspective. Keep it up.
