Okay!

It's 4:40 a.m. and I got some good stuff done!!! user added image

Did some tweaks to the head finally got the funkyness around the eyes and I think the eyes look good now too! I am gonna still try your idea so that's not done yet but if that doesn't just blow my mind then this will work! Also detailed the back fixed the bottom of the "stomach", added part of the joint for the wings and the arms!!! Lots done tonight and I'm liking the way things are going on it! Showing the whole torso and head with updates and fixes! Still some fine detail like all the grooves and seams but that's all for later!
p.s. both intakes do have black in the back! I just made them deeper and so you get more "gold" at this angle.

! Hey wicket, I loved your idea of the power is off, just on and then running :banana:. Great job, also from seeing this farther away it looks even nicer, as you complete this gundam I am seeing lots of great work. Just cant wait to see it complete user added image

Oh man... hmmm the hardest part has been... deffinatley the shape around the eyes more than anything... always seemed too rough for my liking. Next would have to be detailed shaping of the intakes on both the head and body, as you can see the body ones still need some fine tuning to get them really good! Other than that it's just getting the shapes and roundness/smoothness of the object! Things don't really have a "sharp" edge/corner and that makes all the difference in making it look more realistic.

Thanks )v( I owe you a lot of your help on getting those darned eyes looking good! If it weren't for your persistance on them not sittin right with you I probably would never have tried to do the teaking I did last night! THX mate!

Also does anybody know of a good toonshader tut preferably an Anime' one but I can tweak it for that... well thanks guys should get to do some more later tonight so I'll post for ya then!

Heheh, no problem wicket, when something bothers me i just have to bring it up! And now those eyes truly dont bother me at all, they are great user added image

. Great job. As for the toonshader, i found 1 tutorial that does a toon type design. I also figured out that the toonshader on maya's main site isnt there anymore. Hopefully you have it user added image

Ok bud, heres a link to a known site.. but close to the end under "T" there are 3 shaders that all have a nice effect user added image

. Check it out, there still was this one other one that would of take the most time to do per one, but it was SOO nice. Sorry i cant find it, just shows you that you should bookmark all the cool stuff you find on this huge World wide web user added image

Thanks for the sites mate! I'll check each of those out and see which one works best! I'm not sure if I'll do the final in a toon shade or not... just curious to what it would look like! Well here's an update! Not much just some detail and smoothing here and there! Later mates!

OOOH, i love that last picture, looks like hes staring me right in the eyes! Wants to kill me :O. Great job, those sites are not what i would call awesome toon shaders or toon tutorialsi.. but maybe they will be ok user added image
