monster rigged and placed

It looks kind of like a desert and was supposed to be the background for a jungle scene, but now I can't decide whether to go ahead and make it a jungle or maybe try to do a desert at night.

The head looks quite heavy for the thickness of that body. Nice texturing.

Ya the head does look a bit heavy for the body.. I may have to scale that up a bit. I have been busy with work and have done some work on rigging the princess. Also working on her sceptre which will have some kind of stone in it that emits a light.

Oh and ToxicBunny np, I haven't been up to much else other than this contest in terms of 3d work. Other than that I have a job thats going to be taking alot of my time in the next 2 weeks so I'm trying to get as much work as possible in now on this.

some new images

I re-designed the monster with a fatter body. Made a new rig for him also. Finished the Princess's rig, but I still have some weighting issues to sort out. These are some shots of what I'm working with atm. I have been testing out some different lighting scenarios.. I have a few different ideas on the setting for this also.

I'll be working on the shaders and lighting for sure.

I'm going to try to finish up her sceptre tonight and use a point light source for a misty glow kind of effect off it.
