This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

sure you can - it is in the rules to present random wireframe shots :p

Vehicle looks cool mate, I´d say make some more stuff into it to make it look more extreme-conditions taking. I´ve got faith in this one anyway, as we all know what Brian works into his models. He has what I like to think of as personal style.

oh, dont read what adl wrote wrong. only because brian is very good at subd does not mean he is not as good or even better in nurbs and patch modeling user added image

Geeze! So mayn replies to read!! user added image Thanks alot for all of the encouragement. It helps out tremendously... I drove 1/2 hr to my parrents house just now so I could check simplymaya. and write back to you guys. user added image Thanks alot. Yep.. It will be very stylized. Alot differnt than a normal car... It is Sub D's. I used to allways use Nurbs Untill about a month or two when I first tried out SubD's. SO that is what I am using now... Unitil SOmething better comes along... lol Here is an update, it is the low poly version and I was just starting to modify it... Still tons of detail and work I need to do but its a start... WHat do you think so far? THanks again for all of your comments. I have been working on this and The AT TE project all weekend, witch is why my progress wasn't very fast these last few days...

DAMNIT!!!! That was my idea!!! I was sketching around with it last night, if i use everyone will think i copied you..........

Anyway make sure you put the top of it at the water line (the higher the snorkel, the deeper it can go...)

LOL oh i will still do mine, but are you going to shape you'res like the hummers? I was going too cause they look cooler, and its made in a way so water doesn't get in as easy.
