This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
this can happen, if the dude who made the video used camtasia to record it. Just go to www.techsmith.com and down load the techsmith codec, should work...
And ta dah. That sorted it.
I still can't open it in Quicktime player but windows media player handles it now. It just argues about wrong file extension now haha. Force playing it in mediaplayer works.
Thanks a bunch.
A very interesting video to watch too, but it still looks insanely hard to get this workflow up to speed and to good results. Zbrush still has the UI from netherworld imho haha.
Anyways like what you've done with it and enjoy following this villain project.
Cool, have you downloaded the latest quicktime too?
Mirek: Sorry I didnt answer one of your questions from before, with regards to Z opening new doors. In a nutshell, yes, it has, though Im still doing the main model in Maya, Z is to add the icing on the cake if you will, it has so much to offer generally but Im using it to 'add' to what I'd consider 'okay' anyway. Dont wanna sound blase here, but it is a complimentary package as well as a stand alone App.
Aye it's the latest. Upgraded yesterday and again today.
Maybe it's TOO new? =) No worries though. It plays fine in mediaplayer thx to the tscc thingamabob. Ta.
thanks mate, then its worth a look at next year when i have time.
I opened one of those zygote models into maya, and i see what you mean I think, the mesh seems all over the place, not like the neat lines I see on SM.
