LOL bit like my face then user added image

While we're chatting I started to explore the blend shapes idea but the model that I was working on was one great big mesh (Knobby - you might have seen hime he's my avatar). I found that when I separated the head into several different versions to create different shapes it didn't work...

In the end I had to duplicate the WHOLE mesh and create blend shapes, kinda make the file size LARGE... Am I doing it all wrong or is there a way of connecting a severed duplicate head?

Yeah file can get big if you have one mesh.. just delete all the extras once they are working will knock the file back down....

Looks good. I do think the wings suit the gargoylesque appearance.

I like the face myself; it has an air of corrupted innocence. And one can never have enough of that user added image

??? Er I am not quite with you on that one m8... Do you mean duplicate the mesh create the blend shapes then delete them? Wouldn't that get rid of all the blend shapes???user added image

Yeah... you can delete all the extra meshes once you have them working on the oringnal mesh... dont need to carry an extra 20 or so meshes into animation

Is this a male creature? Cause those pecs are awfully.... well-endowed. user added image The delicate waist coupled with the curves on the breasts make it look quite feminine, imo.

Looking awesome, though! I love the wings.
