This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i
Other than that though I got the basic shape for the head done, I made it in nurbs for the most part, then converted to polys, then did some extrudes to get the flap of skin on his mouth.. i will be modelling the connection of the skin for the mouth, and the jaw later today. Try to get it to look like it would before i chop it up and add the gore . Some of you may not quite understand what im doing.. but you will see when its done.

the only way that it looks like a dog to me, is the view from below. Maybe the jowels are hanging a bit to low? from the side the shape looks very tiger-like.
Ok, i have done some major fine tweaking on the mouth area.. trying to get the large flap of skin to come up, then come back down into the gums, then into the mouth.. then the same for the lower jaw... finally i got that done . C&C welcome.

holy crap M! this looks fantastic! good to see that you;ve really start to put all you've learnt to use! I Love the feet on this model! they look like something out of Ice age or something!!
Looking great man, i love the way he almost looks cartoony, but evil with that shader. And you hinted you will be cutting him up (adding gore), I can't wait to see that.
