Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character

UV Texture Editor

Hello, im an expert max user but im taking a Maya class at school so im running into mass problems. First off, the UV texture editor. I slap a bitmap on a model, give it Uv map and open it in the uv texture editor. Somehow it does not let me select the points and move them around to adjust how the pic and the model line up. I try to select the move tool, but all i can do is select the model, and cant get the arrows to show up so i can change its position. Please Help !
