Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Ok did this concept drawing this morning ..not sure if it will change or not , I was thinking of maybe some sort of fin on his back too ..i have slight webing on the fingers and might have a little web flap under the arms too.
I have a another dilemma too...I am not sure whether to model him posed or in a neutral position as I have never rigged a character before and I might not be very successful ..lol
antway here he is .

Vagyb ..yes it is polygons, I don't really like nurbs much as I have never been able to comfortably stich them or get fine detail .
BTW I am a noobie too but not too new so decided to go norm and play with the big boys ...lol
