help with some constraints please

hey im still working on the pump and here is a video of what im doing. basicaly im try to make it when the tires hit the shocks the stretch just like shocks. please help

I havent watched your video (narrowband connection at home) but from what you're saying you could probably do it with driven keys. So that when the pump comes down the tires will squash (use the pump to drive the value of a squash deformer)

Take a look at my test file. It should do what ou're looking for. In order to set up the constraint, I first selected the locater, then the ring, then I assigned a point constraint. I also had to make sure the center point for the ring was at the bottom of it.

Pure's technique of driven keys would work as well, but this seems easier to me.

well see i kno what ya mean but i would like to make it real so it can interact with bumpy terrain and stuff.
