This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I'm quite new to Maya and have been doing a couple of the basic tutorials.
I'm currently following a HDR tut but after I applied a 2d texture to a NURBS sphere but I can't seem to find the place2dtexture1 swatch after selecting the new Lambert material and clicking on the small button to the right of the Color attribute in the attribute editor. Is there an option to enable it?
after you click on the color swatch...that will bring up the create render node....in the textures tab...at the top...make sure the "with new texture placement" is checked or else it won't create the texture node
ps...you can also create just the textureplacement node by itself and connect it to the texture in the create tab
