Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Dielectric material with bump mapping

I recently downloaded some Mental Ray Phenomenon from www.bmcaff.com

I've found the “Dielectric shader with bump mapping” really useful. The only thing is that I don't know how to place the bump map texture accurately (there is no 2D or 3D texture placement node).

Here is an image of a lollypop I created just to test this material. I spend like one hour trying to place the bump map! :angery:

Any ideas?
