This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

how many computers can you install maya on?

hey i am just wondering how much computers you can install maya 7.0 on. thanks alot.

I was dealing with this same problem. As far as I know you can only install maya on one pc. If you want to use it on another one you need to buy a dongle.

how much does that cost? and one other thing, i am going to buy an other computer like in a year,,, will i beable to transfer it to my new computer?

Not sure how much a dongle costs. I think your best bet is to just contact alias. If you install maya into a second PC I think that they expect you to uninstall it from the first.

Dongle is $150 BUT.. i think you need to get it when you buy maya.
