Maya 2020 fundamentals - modelling the real world
Get halfway through a model and find it's an unworkable mess? Can't add edge loops where you need them? Can't subdivide a mesh properly? If any of this sounds familiar check this course out.

Haha nice one. Only crit is that the feet don't seem to be touching the ground enough and are maybe too bright in colour. But thats a personal preference.

thanks, and you're probably right about the feet, but it took maya (mental ray) a couple of hours to render this image :headbang:
so excuse me if i don't want to render this againuser added image

I am gonna cal him Humphrey as he looks like one. One thing for me is some of the fur looks like it is going into the feet rather than resting ontop, but that could be either, my rubbish eye sight or this here old monitor. But there is a video demo on (i think) the maya website telling one how to use the new tools to stop that happening.

But i dont know what I am talking about as Iam a complete noobert.
