Applying Fur to selected faces...

Hi there guys, was wondering if you could help with with alittle problem...

Ive recently started modeling a bee/wasp character and want to make his body with fur.

I'm a nube to all this so this is how I went about it.

Right click to faces, select the faces, then click on a fur.

Ive tried this once before on another model and it worked, but this time it just wants to Fur the whole model.

Anyone know why?

Many thanks,

James

First off you need to UV map the object so the UV map fits in the 0-1 space or the fur could be all screwed up if the UV co-ordinates are screwed up .
Once you have added the fur description to the faces or objects you can paint baldness ect using the Paint Fur Attributes tool located under the Fur menu.
