modelin panel showing wrong NURB surface shape

so i detached an isoparm of the sphere and some how it turn to this non-sphere shaped object, but when i render it or do a wireframe view, it is showing as a sphere object. does any1 know how to make the modeling panel to display the correct shape ? thx

Make sure you have the object selected and hit 3 on the keyboard, it got reverted it to its lowest display quality when you cut it from the larger surface.
