Beer glass scene creation
This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Nissan 350Z WIP

This is my first attempt at modeling a car. I know that there are alot of errors around the light and the window, I do not know how to fix it. Does anybody know how? and how does it look for a first attempt?

ok seeing that you might be a noob i would suggest following a tutorial for this car as there are thousands for it
head over to www.3dm3.com its pretty simple and it will give you some simple tips and principles in hard surface modelling

when you take pictures of the wireframe turn on Shading > Wireframe on Shaded in the panel menu, or it becomes hard to see the wires

also, you have a lot of uhhh... naughty (?) vertices....
if at any point in the game you select all vertices hit delete and your find your model collapses on itself then you've done something terribly wrong user added image

if you did that for your model you have in the screen shot you'll probably see your front headlights vanish

basically each vertex has to connect to at least 3 edges... preferably each vertex connects to 4 edges and all faces should have at most 4 edges or it may render funny... although you can get away with faces with lots more edges than 4 provided it's properly planar (lying on the same 3D plane - hope you're familiar with linear algebra somewhat or that probably went right over you :p)
