Jr.Who's ZBrush Sketchbook

Hey guys,

Just figured I'd put up my ZB work and WIPs. Right now I'm just learning it, so nothing too fancy.

And a vase that was made from the tuts on Pixo's site. I never knew that painting was so fun. lol

Later today I might post up a pic of something else I've been working on.

you tried to make the pirate-like dude from digital tutors? it looks funky! user added image

the hilt on the katana is too small and twisted(?), but still looks cool

the vase is pure awesomeness user added image

Cause the only other sketchbook was here. lol

Does it really matter where I shove it as long as I don't create 3 different topics?

Looks like your getting to grips with it. Its a great app aint it? Just need to get used to it.

Are you using a tablet? Its pretty much a must have.

When you get going give the clay tubes bush a go, its awesome, almost like making a muscle straight off the bat, get the forms in there using it, then blend with the rake and, then finsh off with the standard tool, nice little workflow

Yeah, I love it. I wished Pixo had a bit better PR and told me a year ago that my computer would be too old. lol It does take a while to get used to… the thing that's hard for me is the navigation, it seems completely whack when compared to Maya's.

Of course I'm using a tablet, I don't know how someone could use ZB without one!

Yeah the navigation takes a while to get used to, bit strange as when Ive been doing a lot of Z ing when I go back to maya it takes a me a couple of min's to get my bearings back!!

Any who if you need any advice give me a shout and I'll help if I can.
