Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Texture Export

I was wondering what the best way would be to export an entire mesh UV map, into an image file such as a JPEG, or a PNG, through Maya 2010?

After 'combining' the mesh parts of the model together, and saved it as a COLLADA file, the textures in this case need to be a separate image.

Once you have UVed your model the UVs remain the same in other apps so just do a UV snap shot.................dave
