Scaling way up

I made a scene, in default cm scale. I scaled the whole scene up like maybe 200X and now all my geo is kinda transparent from a distance. It gets better the more I zoom in. Please explain why. Thanks.

P.S. it renders fine but why does it behave this way? I thought it was a clipping plane issue but it all renders fine. ???

I will software render fine because it happens only for realtime performance purposes. Adjusting the near and far clip attributes on the camera will help.
