poly circle

can anyone help me creating a poly circle?

What kind of circle? You can use poly cylinder or sphere... But with out more info it had to answer you question.

just a simply circle - you know, like a nurbs circle...
do u suggest copying an edge of a poly cyl or sphere?

I would just make a poly cyclinder and sclae it down as low as I can.....

Yup, there is no such thing like a poly curve as polygons are... well polygons... The most primitive polygon is a triangle...
