This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.

Second human head

Hello all! This is the second human head I've ever tried to do. This turned out way better than I thought it would. I'm thinking about giving him some body armor (and a body :p ) and put him in some sort of medival setting.

C&C please.

It looks abit blocky/squared. But other than that, nice job. NURBS, or polys?

thanks!

Thanks for the comments guys!

I-Iybrid: You're right it is -really- blocky but as much as I play with it is seems to either be even more blocky or he begins to look as if his head has been caved in. And it is polys.

I've started work on a body and I'll get pics up as soon as I get it looking halfway like a torso.

okay

Okay here is the basic upper torso but I'm not too sure what else I should do with hit. I'm going for more of an chainmail look so I don't think the body should be too defined. I know the cut for the head in the body is not aligned right but I was thinking of adding a hooded cloak later to cover up that part of the hole.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
