Im modeling a dinner table with nurbs and im having trouble with the fork. COuld someone tell me a good method to use? Even if it means starting the fork over from scratch.

use polys and get the four prongs as faces at the end of the fork and then just extrude them. Should be simple enough. You're using nurbs at the moment yes?

Well you could use the append to poly tool to fill in that gap on the left of the fork (right as you look at it, then use the split poly tool to divide the front face of the fork to give you places to extrude the tines from, unless you think it might be easier to just start again (which it probably would be).

I used the append poly tool to make the surfaces and extruded the faces then i just lofted the edges where there were gaps. It does look like a fork now but still could use a lot of work.

thanks everyone for input and suggestions. It helped much.:bgreen:
