prop. Motion Blur?

I modelled a Pup ww1 fighter, and I started animating it. I hit a wall when I came to animating the prop. I need it to look like its spinning very fast. Im sure its not that hard. Im just stumped.

u could do an expression by selecting channel box rotate (x/y/z)=time* (val)
"rotateX=time*4;
example.
I have also seen people use a disk and animate a texture so it gives a blur efect.
