Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
So i'm coming VERY close to rigging up my imp model the body is all assembled but the head is still detached because I was wondering for the purpose of painting on skin weights would it be better to leave the head detached so that I can paint on the weights separately from the rest of the body, or should i just go ahead and combine everything and just go at it?
