Maya for 3D Printing - Rapid Prototyping
In this course we're going to look at something a little different, creating technically accurate 3D printed parts.

Bri, I'm really digging the headlight shaders. Any chance of sharing how you set it up? Great work bro!

Um. Its awsome of course. But i really really love what you had!!

As far as what you have here: I love the optical lenses thingers. But... If your going to have a helmet type thing on top of the lenses, then you need to have it fold down into, (and look like its part of) the body. Understand? Good luck!

Once this competition is over, and when you have some free time next, I was wondering if you'd be able to write some tutorials (pr even better, one tutorial, but make it really detailed showing every step) on how you do some of this stuff?
Like, for us beginners, who are mere mortals user added image

I mean, there are limited tutorials out there, but they are not very detailed, and they aren't all that clear, and the things they model are so simple, I think it would be amazing if someone could do a really in depth and detailed tutorial on how to model something like what you seem to be making here in only a few hours! Just the EYE from that model above would take me half a day user added image

If you don't have time to do something like this thats no problem, I really appreciate being able to marvel at your work, it's inspiring (really it is)

Silly rage. You dont have to draw your way out of the bag. Just take your pen and rip the bag open you sily goose.

LOL

If you include the texturing of the eye, that may take a while, sure. But if your only talking modeling it, thats easy. 15 min tops.

You mean to tell me, all this time, I could have just poked the paper?????

INCONCEVABLE!

(said in my best Princess Bride "Vecini" character voice)

If I were to derive from what we know about paper, CLEARLY paper always covers rock, so therefore, I would NOT be able to choose the pen in front of ME as my means of escaping the paper bag.

But as we all know from childhood, the pen has ALWAYS been mightier than the sword, so being without a sword, OBVIOUSLY, this proves the weakness of my pen, and therefore I would not choose the pen in front of YOU as my means of escaping the paper bag.

<Ultra says: "You truly have a dizzying intelect."

WAIT TILL I GET STARTED!!

hehe....
