Over the last couple of years UV layout in Maya has changed for the better. In this course we're going to be taking a look at some of those changes as we UV map an entire character
dude! haven't spoken to you in a while so I was suprised to catch you here! from what I see now is that you have a very clean mesh....(like allways!) ...looking forward to see some more progress
Wow,,, nice one there,,, although i know i should not say this,,, me being a LWer and all,,,, Hehe the neck part you might want to tone down the detail,,,, distracts the whole model and loses the perspective on the body. Great body there by the way.
Haha vagyb ...thats kinder the point as he is a dino lizardman
Of course the arms & legs will drift into animal form one way or another..
I have been working on the arms and tail and will post an update later today.
I kinder went for a neutral pose in the end so I am going to have to rig this baby to pose it, I do like to torture myself ...hehe.
Thx Kumar... I know what you mean about the neck, but i was going to blend it in more when I actually attatch the head to the body.
