Yay, and a renered shot. LOL I just learned how to render in mental ray. Well I didnt actually learn alot, but just enough to make my rotor look realistic. Ok I know yall are sick of the rotors lol but im happy OK NO MORE ROTORS AFTER THIS unless its with other crap on cars.
Im trying to render a hugh file and its saying mental ray out of memory. How can I fix that because the computer im running has 3 Gig for Ram, a NVidia GeForce 7800 gxt graphics card and pent 4 3.8 Ghz processor so im not sure how im running out of memory trying to render the car I am working on at a bigger size.
Where do I find a dgs material. the only ones I have listed are
anisotropic
blinn
hair tube shader
lambert
layers shader
ocean shader
phong
phong e
ramp shader
shading map
surface shader
use background
Fond it. You can go under the menu render,-->lighting/shading-->Dgs_Material

IT WORKKSSSS yes. Alright Its about time I hit the bed because I have a 9 am class. I didnt have chance to play with the spec color but I will tomorrow when I have time after class. This is just a rendered shot to show the chrome worked but This is NOT the final. Hopefully lol Tomorrow.
