This course contains a little bit of everything with modeling, UVing, texturing and dynamics in Maya, as well as compositing multilayered EXR's in Photoshop.
I definitely like the run-down nature of your pinball machine and it'd be really cool if you can mimic that in your model and textures. For instance, it looks like that metal bit you just posted has a slight bend at the bottom of it?
That kind of stuff adds a lot. Keep it up!
Also, keep an eye on scale and curvature. The bracket held down by the 3 screws seems like a different scale in the photo compared to your mesh so far. Picky, perhaps, but that's what this challenge is about.
By the way, try to keep your attached images down to around 640x480.
