Didn't have much time to work on it but got the windshield base under the window behind the hood done. And blocked out the frame for the taillight assembly. Had to redo this once as i made too many errors to save it and started over. Second try took drastically less time once i figured out some tricks in the topology. That is why i love making the same thing two or three times, really get a nice flow down.

Tail light covers. No interior of the lights yet but with these 90's style lights you really couldnt see into the light cavity very well. I think the covers will be okay for now and textured to bring out the rest of the details on the lights.

I was just posting yours as a comparison to what i had to work with originally. I'll send it back when im done, trying to make sure i label everything the way you like as well instead of having one giant layer of everything. lol.

Haha, yea. I hate how messy your scenes are, Outliner wise. I'm picky and like to be somewhat organized. That way if I need to find/select a piece of geometry, I can just go into the outliner, and click on it. And hey, I know I'm not THAT good at modeling, but still. Give me some credit. What I had was a pretty decent start. user added image

after looking at some references it seems i messed up the cyclops a little bit.

It's a quick fix i will take care of tonight as i am at work now.

I think i might try making a rim/tire for this next but i need to be careful i dont lose momentum. If i do it's hard to get it back.

Yeah it wasn't a bad start. I think most of your problems were from not centered image planes for the blueprints.

I am usually pretty good at organizing my layers, i just have a bad habit of not labeling things in outliner... after 2-3 hours using something i just learn "Polycube12" is my hood...

So much for my excellent progress speed... Work got hectic and couldn't get anything done for a few days but back to work. I started making a new set of rims/tires and after i got them done... i didn't like them. So i just put on a set i already had done. I may go back and model a better set but i don't consider it much of a priority right now.
I plan on posting a WIP image soon but right now im mostly adding to the undercarriage and minor details.

Both sides of the car with tires. Not merged yet but still looking okay.

Thinking of adding some components behind the wheels like CV joints and what-not but i have to look up how it all connects to see how much work would be involved.

Looks good man, could help a bit with the pinching if you posted a wire though. Easy to make a model go from good to great if you can eliminate pinches user added image

i tried the CT one before and i couldnt get it to work. After i tried it again last night it finally worked however it was late and of a bad angle so i will do another tonight. I have some pinching here and there but nothing too bad. mostly around the front bumper where it meets the quarter panel. But i will have to wait for a nice render to see how it looks.
