This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.
Another update to the Maclaren. I've settled on the overall shape of the tail end, and have cut in the panels and intake ports, as well as the brake and turn light cutouts. It will need detail work in here, but mostly stuff that isn't 'attached' to the mainbody (with the exception of one part i now see I forgot). Please forgive the obvious seam because the two halves are not combined together yet.
like it Jason they seem very accurate, is that rubber just one poly object or the inside is made of a nurbs revolve?
Good work, looking forward to see the car:thumbsup:
Life is lived forward but only understood backward
I'll be adding textures to it soon thanks guys! the inner tube is a nurbs revolve under the tread. I might have to make a poly wall out of it tho, cause I'm concerned that the tire won't deform properly as two seperate pieces.
Right now I'm getting the brake lights, grills, and mufflers done to wrap up the back end modeling. Here's an updated pic with the front end modeling essentially done. (I have to dothe windshield wipers yet).
VERY NICE UPDATE!! EXCELLENT work CAN'T WAIT FOR TEXTURES!!!!
