Thank Magicsy & Tickle for the Wow !
not sure it deserved it but makes me feel I am going in the right direction user added image

Im working my way down the model slowly...
I have completed the speakerlight texture and also textured the speaker cover abd added the lighting effects from the startlight at the bottom center.

just a suggestion not sure how youd go about it but the lower part especially the wood bits look a little flat.
maybes a backlight with high intensity might bring the curves out more.
hope this helps user added image

Hmm thanks for that ..I know what you are saying and it might need some attention but for now this scene is a basic render with not much in the way of lighting ect so the final render might look different.

Thanks for the encouragement Mike, I was a little worried about this as I have never actually successfully textured a model to date..lol

Nice work. I only have one crit/suggestion. The tesselation on the arch of the jukebox is a little low, so you're getting a stepped curve. It's not a big deal, but for the realism thing it just pulls my attention to the edge and spoils the effect. Other than that, excellent.

thanks guys ..I am aware of the tesselation but it's not a problem when I smooth those parts, just not smoothed for these update renders for speed.

I'm not happy at all with this render , but it took so long to knock out I am going to post it anyway if only because I smoothed the light so the tesselation is ok ..hehe

hey looking good man i have a idea.
i was wondering what a render would look like if u just used the neon lights round the jukebox or whatever there called.
To light the scene. i dont know but i think it could work. user added image
