This course will look at the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. We'll look at what makes a good model in Maya and why objects are modeled in the way they are.

still much detailing to go...

c + c appreciated as always. obviously I'm pretty well sticking with the overall shape but comments very welcome there

as for detailing - i'm still just playing. I know it's goign to need some major air intakes etc.

Where did you get that profile for the tire ? .. I am going to use the same method as you, to make my tire, and I tried displacement but its not too great control..

Hey nice to see other people making cars user added image

I like nurbs for the body and I love this method of making tires because it's so exact. I looked on the internet for pirelli p zero tires but I ended up using a photo scanned from a car mag.

The scan is 730kb so I didn't want to upload it here. If you can't find one email me and I'll send it to you.
