ok I am going to try and find the time to fit this in.

no concept sketch ti's completely in my head but it is going to be based on a Wasp !

oh and it will be a vehicle of some discription although it might end up too heavy to fly..lol

Very nice! Dont forget though that (a real) wasp has their mouthparts on the sides rather than on top of each other.

Same style as on ants etc.

Thanks for the tip, I do have references for the wasp, however this is not going to be the scale of a wasp and will end up an all terrain vehicle so is only really wasp like user added image

is this the foot end of the leg (lower leg) or the join to the body (upper leg).
