Introduction to Maya - Modeling Fundamentals Vol 2
This course will look in the fundamentals of modeling in Maya with an emphasis on creating good topology. It's aimed at people that have some modeling experience in Maya but are having trouble with complex objects.

dust on furniture

Hello I need to show dust on some furniture. And then i need to also animate it to be removed. I was thinking of animating texture files. but i am not sure that can be done. Can any one suggest something?

thanks

well you could possibly either look into an animated texture (which would be pretty complex) or a dynamics and particles simulation... which i think would be almost as complex
