Blurry renders...

I am using Maya 8.5 and I am new to the whole 3d modeling aspect. I found a pre-made 3 light setup, and tried to render my object, but the image comes out blurry. What am I doing wrong?

It is important to note that I am using the Maya Software render option. I tried using Mental Ray, but my image comes out looking like a filter out of Photoshop.

Thanks in advanced,

It looks like Depth of Field is on. To turn it of, go to:
view>select camera
(if the attribute editor isn't open, open it with display>UI elements>attributes editor)
and in the camera settings, scroll down to the depth of field area and uncheck the box. That should disable the blurriness
