texturing Nurbs?

How the hell are you mean't to texture nurbs? I've had experience with polys but i've just started looking into nurbs and can't seem to see anything in the uv editor?

Please help, thanks

open the Hypershade (window -> rendering editors) and choose 'create texture' from the type of nodes menu..

Actually for simple texturing Nurbs are quite a bit easier than polygons user added image
