iff.#

Hello,

I think I may have made a mistake when rendering out my scene. I rendered my scene using filename.iff.# file extension. When I go to import these files into after effects it tells me that it's an unsupported file. I'm thinking that the .iff.# is the reason. Is there a way of correcting this without rendering the scene again?

Thanks

Itzat

You're right, typically filename.###.ext is the better way to go. You can try searching online for a batch renaming app. If you're on a mac, I believe you can do this in automator. If you're on linux, you can look for a bash script to customize, I have found that very handy on many occasions to batch rename many files. On windows, I'm not so sure, but do a search.
