Introduction to Maya - Rendering in Arnold
This course will look at the fundamentals of rendering in Arnold. We'll go through the different light types available, cameras, shaders, Arnold's render settings and finally how to split an image into render passes (AOV's), before we then reassemble it i

js,

I am really liking this, but why not remove the rivits from the plates and add the details another time when texturing, using bump or displacements to save you a bit of time.

i modelled the details because I wanted them I thought I might not be the one to texture it ,as I said earlier I would have used displacements if I was texuring but no matter the rivets and pretty much done now so I will leave them.

I have enough time to finish because there is not much left to add and just tidying up to do really.

Lol, I just like throwing ideas out there for many reasons.

To see what other artists think of them.

To see if the artist had the same ideas (good sign that I've learned to think like my fellow 3d modelers, if I can think the same things they've been thinking :p ).

To help push ideas forward and make them better.

I dunno...lots of reasons...but feel free to ignore my incessant ramblings; I can go on forever, for little is ever truly done user added image

I hate to fly, REALLY HATE TO FLY! But this thing is so cool, I'd be first in line. And I like the glowing flickering eyes idea.

i'm really glad you like it ,I am hoping this will turn out good enough to be part of a demo reel I am hoping to make when I have enough created work.

A giant, mechanical wasp, a mech t-rex head, and a house that you built for real...

...you sure you don't have enough? :p

The amount of detail on this model simply stuns me everytime I see this thread.

I must ask, how many polys are you up to user added image ?
