Complex UV Layout in Maya

To ransick: Think that bother me is that reflection ofbac wall, it is not so realistik, reflection is just too stron with contrast an brithnes m8, everythink else is greate!!


Best resolt would come, if every one in the group are doing what is best for himself and the group!!

yes the main light isi way too strong. i notice when using FG in maya, hard edges or edges that have sharp corners always look "iffy" if you know what i mean. you can find a work around for that. maybe you should use a 3point light set up (i don't mean 3 point lights in maya...it could be any type of lights. this is a great composition. i really like it. but it's too yellow-ish...imho
and the floor has no bump or it's too low. comparing it to the nice texturing job you did with the wall. and maybe remove the lamp post, or bring it closer to the camera to make it look bigger. just my 2 cents. user added image

MMM??? This lighting thang is a tough one!! The reason I say this is because of the crit people are giving but its worth bearing in mind that if you're in a very hot country where they tend to have sun bleached buildings you can actually get this effect coming off the stone work in direct sunlight. Have a look at some images of Tunisia,Egypt and Morocco and you'll see what I mean.

I don`t to be some wise guy, but in original i am photographer and i sow ton`s and ton`s of picutres, and newer sow that strong and bright light, It`s easy to achive that efect but i think that is not posyble in real word, maybe in 2400 year user added image

OK big problem.
My HD burnt out last night and had to reinstall everything on my old HD. I did back up all my maya stuff a few days ago but cant find the sodding disk. When I find the disk I will finish this but for now its on hold.

Well I've done a fair few pics in my time and my snaps of Egypt tell me otherwise especially on the old plastered buildings. But hey...........reference and opinions vary
